Amy Latas is our next employee spotlight of the month! She has been working at Gana Trucking & Excavating for three and a half years as a driver and scale operator. When she’s driving, she’s most likely taking a load of materials to a construction site or driveway project.
While she didn’t have truck driving experience before starting at Gana, she decided to take a shot at it anyway. Her son worked at Gana, and she always had heard that it was a good place to work. After applying, Gana took the time to train her and helped her get her CDL license. Amy is just one example of a Gana-trained driver — no experience is necessary to start your trucking career here.
Her favorite part of her job is being on the road and talking with customers or drivers. She gets to deliver materials to all different customers and loves getting to know them. All in all, she’s been very pleased with her time at Gana. Amy would encourage someone to apply at Gana because of the kind people, good benefits, and overall just being a fantastic place to work.
