Employee Spotlight – Josh Whitefoot

Today we’re spotlighting Josh Whitefoot! Josh has been at Gana Trucking & Excavating for 16 years, and he is currently serving as a Field Supervisor. In this role, he oversees multiple jobs at one time. He helps with project management, communicating with general contractors and superintendents, as well as teaching and training new employees. In fact, helping out the new guys is probably his favorite part of his job (other than playing in the dirt like a kid)!

Josh has worked on countless projects, but building the embarkment for the pedestrian bridge by the Pinnacle Bank Arena sticks out in his mind. At the time, he was fairly young and new in the construction industry, so the whole project was a learning curve for him.

Overall, he has had a positive experience at Gana and has found his job to be rewarding. He would tell others looking for a job that, at Gana, you get to work with great people and have some of the best management in the industry.

Here’s what Adam Root, Project Manager/Estimator, had to say about Josh and his coworker Randy Hunt:

“The originals. Ultimate Company Men. They are both the definition of the hard work and do whatever it takes mentality that got Gana to what it is today. You can put my name by all of that. Two of my favorites and the two of the best.”

We want to thank Josh for all of his hard work and leadership over the years! We appreciate all you do, Josh!
